The Viennese singer and musician is deeply rooted in the Yiddish song tradition, weaving personal stories together with sensitive lyricism and innovative soundscapes. With voice, piano, accordion, and synthesizer, she creates a musical tapestry in which past and present merge. Tradition and modernity enter into a compelling dialogue, offering profound insights into the soul of an artist who explores boundaries and continually redefines her own voice.
Alongside her passion for Yiddish music, this Vienna native also has a deep love for Viennese music. On the one hand, she is devoted to traditional Viennese songs; on the other, she actively addresses the absence of a female voice in the Wienerlied tradition by composing and writing her own works.
With a unique blend of jazz, pop, and folk music, she creates contemporary Viennese songs that are firmly rooted in the Schrammel tradition through voice, piano, and the Schrammel accordion, while capturing the spirit of the 21st century. Her music tells stories of life—full of humor, charm, and a deep connection to Vienna and its musical heritage.
